Every tyre we supply is recorded against your vehicle with its manufacture date, so a warranty claim never depends on you having kept the paperwork.
What manufacturer warranty covers
Tyre manufacturers warrant against defects in materials and workmanship. That covers things like separation, sidewall failure not caused by impact, and irregular wear traceable to a manufacturing fault.
It does not cover punctures, impact damage, kerbing, damage from running under-inflated, wear caused by misalignment, or ordinary tread wear.
Specific terms
The warranty duration and coverage that apply to your purchase are stated on your invoice at the point of sale, and are the terms that were in force on that date. Warranty terms vary by manufacturer and by product.
Making a claim
Bring the vehicle and the tyre to us. We inspect it, and where the claim is against a manufacturer we submit and manage it for you — you do not have to deal with the manufacturer yourself.
Workmanship
If a fault arises from work we carried out, bring the vehicle back and we will correct it at no charge. That is not a warranty term so much as an obligation.
The five-year limit
No warranty extends the UAE legal limit on tyre age. A tyre more than five years old from its manufacture date may not be used on UAE roads regardless of its condition or of any warranty in force. We will remind you before your tyres reach that point.
