Porsche tyres and servicing in Dubai

Porsche homologation is unusually specific. The N-rating on a Porsche tyre is not a marketing badge — it denotes a tyre developed jointly with Porsche for that specific model.

Common Porsche tyre sizes

  • 295/35R21 (Cayenne rear)
  • 265/45R20 (Macan)
  • 245/35R20 (911 front)

Always check the placard inside your driver’s door — trim levels and wheel options change the size, and a previous owner may have fitted something different.

The N0 – N7 marking on Porsche tyres

Sequential Porsche approval codes. The number indicates the generation of the approval, not the quality. Mixing different N-numbers across an axle is not recommended.

We will tell you whether the tyre we are quoting carries the marking or not, and what the practical difference is. Some drivers reasonably choose a non-marked tyre to save money — that is a decision you should get to make knowingly.

Worth knowing in UAE conditions

  • Almost all Porsche fitments are staggered and directional, so rotation options are limited.
  • Performance compounds wear faster in sustained heat; expect shorter tread life here than the manufacturer figures suggest.
