Maseratis are a familiar sight in Dubai without being common, and the Levante, Ghibli and Grecale make up almost all of the ones we see. They share a lot of hardware with the wider Stellantis and FCA world, which means parts and general mechanical work are far more approachable than the badge suggests. Tyres, brakes, suspension and servicing are all straightforward for an independent garage.

Always check the placard inside your driver’s door — trim levels and wheel options change the size, and a previous owner may have fitted something different.
Worth knowing in UAE conditions
- Levante air suspension is the usual expensive failure. Heat and sand degrade the air spring rubber and the compressor works harder in summer, and a car that sits low overnight is the early warning
- Staggered tyre setups on the Levante and Ghibli mean rears wear far faster and cannot be rotated to the front. Owners are often surprised to be buying rears twice as often
- Coolant and auxiliary belt components suffer in traffic at 45C, and the A/C system runs at near full load almost year round on the Ghibli's large cabin
- Low front valances on the Ghibli and Quattroporte catch on ramps and speed bumps, and underbody trim damage is common
