BudgetThree-A and Effiplus are the same manufacturer's output under two names, so compare the pattern rather than the badge - the same casing can carry two prices. Of the cheap brands it has pushed hardest into large-rim SUV and crossover sizes, which is what most of Dubai drives. Dry grip is fine; wet braking and tread life are where the money was saved.

A premium brand that has spent four years in a warehouse is a worse buy than a fresh mid-range tyre, because in the UAE a tyre is illegal five years from the date moulded into its sidewall. Ask to see that date before any tyre is fitted.
