Wheel alignment
Wheel alignment sets the angles at which your tyres meet the road. When those angles drift — and Dubai’s speed bumps and construction-area kerbs move them regularly — the car pulls to one side and the tyres wear out fast and unevenly. We align on a dedicated rig and give you the before and after figures.
Do you need this?
Have your alignment checked whenever you fit new tyres, after any significant kerb or pothole impact, after suspension work, and any time the car pulls to one side or the steering wheel is off-centre on a straight road. Misalignment can destroy a new set of tyres in a few thousand kilometres.
Signs to look for
- The car pulls left or right on a flat, straight road
- The steering wheel is not centred when driving straight
- Tread wearing faster on one edge of a tyre than the other
- A feathered or scalloped edge you can feel by running a hand across the tread
- Steering that feels vague or wanders
What we actually do
Step by step, so you know what you are paying for.
The car goes onto the alignment rig and targets are mounted to all four wheels.
We check tyre pressures and inspect the suspension and steering joints first — aligning a car with a worn track rod end is pointless.
The rig measures current camber, caster and toe on all four wheels.
We show you the "before" reading against the manufacturer specification.
Adjustments are made to bring every angle into specification.
A final measurement is taken and you get the "after" printout to keep.

Questions we get asked
What is the difference between alignment and balancing?
Alignment sets the angles at which the wheels point, and fixes pulling and uneven tyre wear. Balancing corrects weight distribution around a spinning wheel, and fixes vibration. They are different jobs on different machines, and a car can need one without the other.
How often should I have my alignment checked?
At least once a year, every time you fit new tyres, and immediately after any hard kerb or pothole impact. Dubai’s speed bumps and constantly changing construction access roads knock alignment out more often than most drivers expect.
Do I need four-wheel alignment or just the front?
Four-wheel, on almost any modern car. The rear axle determines the thrust line the front wheels must be aligned to, so aligning only the front to the chassis centreline can leave the steering wheel off-centre even when the front angles are perfect.
Can misalignment really ruin new tyres?
Yes. A toe angle out of specification drags the tyre slightly sideways for every kilometre you drive, and can wear the inner or outer edge far faster than the rest of the tread. After a hard kerb or pothole impact that can happen surprisingly quickly.
