Rolls-Royce tyre sizes
The factory sizes for the Rolls-Royces on Dubai roads. Most are staggered, with wider tyres at the rear, and Rolls-Royce’s handbook for the Ghost (2009–2020) advises against swapping wheels between the axles in any case, so tyres are bought in axle pairs. Load index matters on cars this heavy: a tyre with the right size but a lower load index is not a substitute.
Load index 105 front, 108 rear (XL). The factory Pirelli is self-sealing (Seal Inside), and the front is also foam-lined (PNCS). Same size as the earlier Ghost’s 20s but a higher load index, so a tyre from the earlier car must not go on this one.
Run-flat Goodyear tyres. Early cars of this generation ran Michelin PAX run-flat wheels (265/790 R540), which need special equipment and are no longer made.
Always check the placard on the driver’s door frame or the size on your current tyres: wheel options change the fitment, and a previous owner may have fitted something different.
Sizes checked in October 2026 against Rolls-Royce’s genuine-parts catalogue and its own EU tyre information sheets, Continental, Pirelli and Michelin catalogues and fitment databases, each one confirmed by at least two. A size we could not confirm twice is left out rather than guessed.
Rolls-Royce’s handbook for the Ghost (2009–2020) says the tyres it recommends can be identified by a star on the sidewall: the BMW Group’s mark, as Rolls-Royce is part of BMW. It has no code of its own (RO1, sometimes quoted for it, is Audi’s). The star alone is not enough: the right tyre also matches the size, the load index and speed rating, and the technology the car left the factory with, whether run-flat, self-sealing or foam-lined. When you are quoted a tyre, ask whether it is that one.
How much are Rolls-Royce tyres? Getting a real price
A Rolls-Royce tyre price depends on the size, the brand, the load rating, whether it is the same kind of tyre the car was built with (run-flat, self-sealing or foam-lined), and whether you are replacing a pair or all four. We do not publish a figure that would be wrong for your car. Send us three things on WhatsApp and we will reply with the actual tyre and its price, VAT included.

Most models have different front and rear sizes, so each axle is priced separately.
What customers say about our garage
Two of our 249 Google reviews, word for word under the reviewer’s own name. They are about our workshop in general, not about a Rolls-Royce.

“Great quick service, saved me as the shop open till late.”
These are heavy cars: a Cullinan weighs about 2.66 tonnes and a Spectre about 2.9. Tyre pressure rises roughly 1 psi for every 5–6°C, so set the placard pressure before driving, and never let air out of a hot tyre after a summer drive.

Low mileage still means old tyres
Rolls-Royce’s handbook for the Ghost (2009–2020) says to replace tyres at least every six years, whatever the wear. In the UAE the limit is stricter: a tyre more than five years past the date code on its sidewall cannot be used, however much tread is left.
Read your sidewall. RSC or ROF means run-flat; Seal, ContiSeal or Seal Inside means self-sealing; Silent, ContiSilent or PNCS means foam-lined. It decides what can be done about a puncture, and many of these cars carry no spare wheel.
4
After a kerb or pothole strike
On 21 to 23-inch wheels, Continental warns that impact damage can be inside the tyre and invisible from outside, so after a hard strike it is worth having the tyre taken off and looked at. Have the alignment checked if the steering wheel is no longer straight.
Rolls-Royce’s handbook for the Ghost (2009–2020) says to reset the tyre-pressure monitor after every pressure correction and every tyre or wheel change, and warns that tyre sealant can damage the sensors in the wheels, which then need checking. Check what your own car’s handbook asks.
6
Heat and the battery
Heat, not cold, wears out a car battery: for the sealed lead-acid batteries most cars use, life roughly halves for every 8°C above 25°C. If your car sits between drives, keep it on a maintainer through the charging point your handbook shows.

Questions owners ask
Are you a Rolls-Royce dealer or service centre?
+
No. Juventus Tyres Trading is an independent tyre shop and garage in Al Quoz, not affiliated with Rolls-Royce Motor Cars or its dealers. We do tyres, alignment, balancing, puncture repair, brakes, wheel refinishing, oil, 12-volt batteries, A/C, tint and polishing. Warranty work, air suspension, coding, calibration and the Spectre’s high-voltage system belong with the dealer.
I have a puncture or a tyre-pressure warning. What should I do?
+
Stop somewhere safe and look at the sidewall. RSC or ROF means run-flat: built to carry the car a limited distance after losing pressure, which Bridgestone and Goodyear put at up to 80 km at no more than 80 km/h; your handbook gives the figure for your car. Seal, ContiSeal or Seal Inside means self-sealing: it may hold pressure for now, but it still needs checking. Many of these cars carry no spare wheel. Send us a photo of the tyre and its sidewall on WhatsApp. If the car should not be driven, ask about mobile tyre change: tell us the car, the wheel size and where it is, and we will tell you whether the job can be done there.
How much do Rolls-Royce tyres cost in Dubai?
+
It depends on the size (19 to 23 inch), the brand, the load rating, whether it is the factory type of tyre (run-flat, self-sealing or foam-lined), and whether you replace a pair or all four. Send us your model and year, a photo of the sidewall and which axle on WhatsApp, and we will reply with the actual tyre and its price, VAT included.
What size tyres does a Rolls-Royce Cullinan take?
+
On 21-inch wheels (to 2024), 255/50 R21 front and 285/45 R21 rear, load index 109 and 113. On 22s, 255/45 R22 and 285/40 R22, load index 107 and 110. The Series II adds 23-inch wheels with 255/40 R23 and 295/35 R23. At about 2.66 tonnes the load index matters: a tyre with the right size but a lower load index is not a substitute. Always check the placard on the driver’s door pillar or the size and load index on your current tyres.
What size tyres does a Rolls-Royce Ghost take?
+
Most Ghosts from 2020 run 255/45 R20 and 285/40 R20, or 255/40 R21 and 285/35 R21. The 2009–2020 Ghost used the same 20-inch size with a lower load index (101 and 104, on run-flats), so its tyres must not go on the newer car. Both generations were also offered with 19-inch wheels, taking 255/50 R19 on all four, but again not the same tyre: load index 103 and run-flat on the older car, 107 (XL) on the newer one. If your Ghost is on a size that is not in our table, send us a photo of the sidewall on WhatsApp. Always check the placard on the driver’s door pillar or the size and load index on your current tyres.
Does a Rolls-Royce Cullinan have run-flat tyres?
+
The factory 21-inch Continental on the Cullinan is self-sealing, not run-flat. Whatever you have, the sidewall tells you: RSC or ROF means run-flat; Seal, ContiSeal or Seal Inside means self-sealing; Silent, ContiSilent or PNCS means foam-lined. It decides what can be done about a puncture, so send us a photo of it.
Do I have to replace all four tyres on my Rolls-Royce?
+
Not necessarily. Tyres are replaced in axle pairs. Most models run wider tyres at the rear, and Rolls-Royce’s handbook for the Ghost (2009–2020) advises against swapping wheels between the axles, so the front pair and the rear pair are priced and replaced separately. The two tyres on one axle should be the same tyre.
Should I fit the same tyre my Rolls-Royce came with?
+
Rolls-Royce’s handbook for the Ghost (2009–2020) says its recommended tyres are identified by a star on the sidewall, and the factory tyre matches the car’s size, load index and technology: run-flat, self-sealing or foam-lined. A different tyre in the right size, load and speed rating is legal and will fit, but noise and ride can differ, and the foam-lined tyres exist because these cars are meant to be quiet. It is your choice; ask whether a quoted tyre is the factory one so you can make it knowingly.
Can you align a Cullinan, Ghost or Phantom?
+
Wheel alignment is one of our services, at the aligner the Cullinan in our photographs is standing at. The Cullinan, the Phantom from 2017, the Ghost from 2020 and the Spectre steer their rear wheels. On those cars the rear-steering actuator has to be centred with Rolls-Royce diagnostic equipment before the alignment and the steering-angle sensor calibrated after it, which is dealer work. The Wraith, Dawn and earlier Ghost do not steer their rear wheels. Send us your model and year first and we will tell you whether yours can be finished here.
Can a puncture in a Rolls-Royce tyre be repaired?
+
Sometimes, if it is a small puncture in the tread area, but be aware of the car maker’s view: Rolls-Royce’s handbook for the Ghost (2009–2020) recommends replacing a damaged tyre rather than repairing it. Self-sealing and foam-lined tyres need a repair method the tyre maker accepts for a permanent repair, sidewall or shoulder damage cannot be repaired safely, and a run-flat driven while deflated has to be replaced.
Can you refinish kerbed Rolls-Royce wheels?
+
Yes, rim polishing and repair is one of our services: kerb scuffs and corrosion can be refinished. Tell us whether your wheels are painted, part-polished or polished, as each is refinished differently. Rolls-Royce’s handbook for the Ghost (2009–2020) says the self-righting RR centre caps should come off only with the plastic tool provided, or the cap and rim can be scratched.
What tyre pressure should my Rolls-Royce run?
+
The pressure on the placard on your door pillar and in your handbook, set with the tyres cold. It changes with load and wheel size, so a single figure from the internet is not Rolls-Royce data. If your handbook asks for it, reset the tyre-pressure monitor afterwards.
